Eckerd Connects in Albany, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse II to supervise the wellness clinic staff and participate in direct student care within a residential job corps setting.

The role reports to the Health and Wellness Manager, requires clinical skills, on-call duties, and accurate documentation of patient care and medications. Includes benefits and a commitment to equal opportunity employment.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse II reports the Health and Wellness Manager (RN) and is a salaried exempt position.
• The Registered Nurse II supervises the day-to-day wellness clinic as well as the nursing staff.
• Works with the Health and Wellness Manager to ensure proper staffing of the wellness clinic.
• Share on-call responsibilities with the Health & Wellness Manager.
• The Registered Nurse II assists in the medical care and treatment of students.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, dresses wounds and assist with student physicals.
• Administers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patient’s chart.
• Assembles, sterilizes and uses various medical equipment and supplies
• Maintains charts for trainees seen by medical personnel.
