Position Details

Roles: Clinical Nurse I, II, III

  • Role Overview: Varies from basic to advanced clinical skills, leadership, and mentorship within the unit.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in preventing illness and promoting wellness.
  • Provide education and develop leadership skills.
  • Deliver and document age-specific care based on medical orders and multidisciplinary plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications safely, identifying potential incompatibilities.
Qualifications

Licensure: Current RN license in Virginia or eligible/compact state.

Experience: Clin I: N/A; Clin II: 12-24 months RN experience; Clin III: 3 years clinical experience.

Education: Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing; Baccalaureate preferred for higher levels.

Additional Requirements
  • Work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift 20-50 lbs and perform activities like standing, walking, reaching.
