Job summary

Centerpoint Health – Paris is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 4-bed ICU on a part-time basis. The role requires current Kentucky RN licensure, an associate degree (BSN preferred), and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition and nursing care needs
• Set goals and nursing interventions to meet patients' physical, psychological, social, and rehab needs
• Develop individual nursing care plans
• Implement care plans and make revisions as needed
• Evaluate patient care outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and other hospital staff
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies
• Communicate with patients and oversee provision of care
• Provide patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to condition
• Accurately document nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given

Registered Nurse (RN), ICU (PRN) – Part Time

Job Type: Part Time | Days: 4 shifts in a 6‑week period

Centerpoint Health – Paris, formerly Bourbon Community Hospital, is a 58‑bed acute care facility in the heart of the Bluegrass. The medical staff consists of 140 physicians covering 22 specialties. Centerpoint Health – Paris also offers a 33‑bed inpatient behavioral health facility staffed by psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, therapists, nurses, social workers, mental health technicians, recreation therapists, and Kentucky certified teachers. The behavioral health department also utilizes certified therapy dogs when applicable.

About the 4‑bed ICU

The 4‑bed ICU provides focused, high‑acuity care in an intimate setting, allowing for close monitoring and rapid response to patient needs. Its multidisciplinary team delivers advanced critical‑care services with a strong emphasis on safety, communication, and family support.

How you'll contribute
