Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Critical Care) – Southside Medical Center

Position Details:

• 12 Hour Shifts
• May be eligible for sign-on bonus (restrictions apply)

Qualifications:

• 2 years of acute nursing experience preferred
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of RN experience required
• 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department unit preferred

Responsibilities:

1. Assess patient status using strong organizational and leadership skills
2. Prioritize patient problems and needs
3. Implement clinical interventions for acute, critical patients
4. Develop and execute patient care plans to improve outcomes
5. Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
6. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
7. Conduct and analyze patient assessments, create care plans, and evaluate treatments
8. Respond confidently to rapidly changing patient conditions
9. Administer medications safely according to policies and procedures
10. Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred, not required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred, not required)
