Job summary

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse to join our patient-centered team on the Day shift. You will coordinate and provide safe care using the nursing process and assist with charge duties as assigned.

Required: state license, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, NIHSS within 90 days, and willingness to uphold compassionate care and professional growth in a facility renowned for cardiac care and stroke services.

Qualifications

• State License Required upon hire.
• BLS Required upon hire.
• ACLS 90 days post hire date or transfer date to obtain
• NIHSS 90 days post hire date or transfer date to obtain
• BLS and ACLS must be through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide safe care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate the care of assigned personnel.
• Perform charge duties as assigned.
• Perform medication administration as required.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Engage in care planning and coordination with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients, families, and staff as appropriate.
