Job summary

Avita Health System seeks an RN for the ICUDepartment at the Ontario location. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care, and ensuring smooth handoffs between shifts.

You will supervise nursing assistants and other staff, while teaching patients and families and upholding patient advocacy. Requirements include an Ohio RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; 2+ years of nursing experience and ICU exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio
• BLS certification is required
• ACLS certification is required
• Two or more years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous ICU experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the unit
• Ensure continuity of care between shifts by coordinating with team members
• Supervise nursing assistants, LPNs and support staff

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICUDepartment at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
