Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is seeking a night shift, full-time ICU Registered Nurse in Harker Heights, TX. The role involves planning and delivering comprehensive nursing care in a high-acuity environment, with a focus on patient safety and collaboration.

Qualifications include Texas RN Licensure, multi-state license recognition via the Nurse Licensure Compact, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Completion of required education to obtain Texas Licensure as an RN.
• RN with Texas Board of Nursing – OR – current home state license is required for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification through AHA is required upon hire.
• PALS certification through AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics endorsed program required within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

Responsabilités

• Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more.

Responsibilities

The nurse is responsible for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care, developing nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary and communicating changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
