Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit in Chelsea, MI. This full-time night shift role requires delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to critically ill adults with cardiac monitoring and invasive/non-invasive ventilation support.

The RN will work in a six-bed unit, applying evidence-based practices, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and promoting family-centered care while meeting BSN timelines and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• BSN degree required or must obtain within five years
• Critical care or ER nursing experience preferred
• Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply

Position Purpose:

The Intensive Care Unit at Chelsea is a six bed adult unit caring for patients that are critically ill medical-surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring, invasive/non-invasive ventilation, and drips.

The Registered Nurse Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

Shift Available

7pm-7:30am

Status Available

Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period - every two weeks)

Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required

Required Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
• Critical care or ER nursing experience preferred
• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
