Location: HealthPark Care and Rehabilitation Center, 16131 Roserush Ct., Fort Myers, FL 33908

Department: Nursing – SNF (112 Beds, One Level Building)

Work Type: Full Time (72 hours bi‑weekly)

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Weekend and Holiday Rotation)

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $30.27 – $40.86 per hour (plus differential, if applicable)

Night Differential: $6.00 per hour

Hiring Incentive: Up to $5,000 for qualifying applicants

Relocation Incentive: Up to $5,000 for qualifying applicants

Patient Population: Adults 21+ to Geriatric

Examples of Conditions Treated: Joint Surgery, Heart Surgery, Stroke, COPD, etc.

Average Length of Stay: Approximately 14 days

Summary

Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Performs responsibilities in five areas of nursing practice utilizing critical thinking, management, problem solving, and differentiation of urgency in the role of clinician, teacher, researcher, leader, and professional developer. Directs and coordinates nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by the American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patients’ age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. The nursing practice is guided by the code of ethics for nurses with interpretative statements.

Requirements

Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred.
