Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista in California seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role involves night shifts, fast-paced triage, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality urgent care.

You will float to partner facilities as needed, and contribute to patient safety and evidence-based practice while maintaining compassionate care. A strong commitment to ongoing professional development is expected.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from approved vendors
• TNCC required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
• Recent experience with EPIC or similar EMR system

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency setting
• Assess patients' conditions and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Registered Nurse – Emergency

Schedule

Night Shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 12-hour shifts, from 1900 to 0730.

Assignment Details

May float to partner facilities if needed.

Requirements

• Current RN license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• One year of acute care experience
• Recent experience with EPIC or similar EMR system

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an emergency setting.
