Job summary

BAYADA Hospice in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Full Time Hospice On Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Hospice office, serving Ocean and Monmouth counties. The role involves on-call shifts, 26 weeks per year, with 5pm-8:30am on weekdays and Fri 5pm-Mon 8:30am during the on-call period.

Base pay is $46–$47 per hour, with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, mileage reimbursement, weekly pay, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• One year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience required.
• Home care or hospice experience preferred, not required.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Administer medication, wound care, treatments and procedures; provide comfort care.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to supervisor.
• Follow up on doctors' orders and document properly.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Occasional on-call after hours and weekends.

BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Full Time Hospice On Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Hospice office, located in Toms River, NJ. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in Ocean and Monmouth counties.

On call is 5pm-8:30 am Mon-Thur and Fri 5pm - Mon 8:30am. EVERY OTHER WEEK. 26 weeks a year.

Full time pay and benefits.

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.

• Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends

Qualifications for a Hospice RN - Registered Nurse include:

• A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in NJ.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation:
