Job summary

BAYADA Hospice in North Bergen, NJ seeks a compassionate Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice office team. You will perform home visits to clients in designated territories, administer medications, provide wound care, and support comfort and quality of life for patients choosing home-based care.

Candidates must hold an NJ RN license with at least one year of clinical experience; EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have NJ RN license and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• EMR experience preferred and required travel to patient sites.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, treatments, and comfort care.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to supervisor.
• Follow doctors' orders and document actions accurately.
• Perform client assessments as necessary; occasional on-call after hours and/or weekends.

BAYADA Hospice is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Full Time Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in the Hospice office, located in North Bergen. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in the Hudson and Bergen.

• Compensation-$50-$52/ hour-based on experience-hospice preferred
• Weekly pay

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Responsibilities for a Hospice RN - Registered Nurse include

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.
• Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
• Performing client assessments as necessary.
• Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends

Qualifications for a Hospice RN - Registered Nurse include

• A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in NJ.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
