Job summary

VitalCaring Group seeks a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our field-based team delivering compassionate, patient- and family-centered end-of-life care. You will lead plans of care, manage symptoms, and advocate for patients and families in home and community settings.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, coordinate care, and ensure quality documentation while maintaining autonomy with support. We value empathy, clinical excellence, and a commitment to comfort at life’s end.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or compact eligibility.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and compassionate care approach.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Excellent communication skills in sensitive situations.
• Basic EMR proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient and family assessments.
• Develop and manage individualized, comfort-focused care plans.

Role Overview

What You’ll Do

• Help families navigate complex decisions with empathy and clarity

• Support quality and compliance standards

What You Bring

• Active RN license (or compact eligibility)
