SAE HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL, is seeking a compassionate RN to join the Women and Infant Services department on a PRN basis.
You will perform the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families throughout care. The position requires an RN license in the state, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred; healthcare experience is welcome.
Pay Range: $34.00 - $51.00 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.

Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience in healthcare is preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
