Job summary

Pathways Hospice (Newest Start Up) seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice for PRN shifts. The role covers Northwest, Southwest, and Southeast service areas, requiring a Texas RN license and hospice experience. Night and weekend coverage is necessary to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities include guiding the nursing team, coordinating with physicians and therapists, planning and directing home care, and educating patients and families on conditions and regimens. EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in the State of Texas.
  • Hospice experience (at least 1 year).
  • Knowledge of home health regulations and general healthcare compliance.
  • Experience with HCHB EMR (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent communication and people skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Oversee nursing care team.
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
  • Plan, organize, and direct home care services.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice
Shift Available: PRN
Service Areas for Coverage: Northwest, Southwest, Southeast
