• Active, unrestricted RN license is required.
• At least 12 months of RN experience within the last five years.
• One year of hospice care experience preferred.

• Develop and initiate a plan of care in collaboration with the IDG.

Responsibilities

As a PRN Hospice Registered Nurse (RN), here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Complete an initial/comprehensive assessment of the patient/family to determine hospice needs, including history of current and previous illnesses, as well as a physical assessment of the patient, with emphasis on pain and symptom management.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of the patient’s physical and psychosocial status.
• Develop and initiate a plan of care in collaboration with the IDG, patient/family, and physician.

Required Skills

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Active, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina or a multi-state compact license
• At least 12 months of RN experience within the last five years
• One year of hospice care experience preferred
