Job summary

AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts. The role includes coordinating care, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Location includes travel to affiliated facilities with mileage reimbursement and travel-ready resources.

The position offers a full-time day schedule, competitive pay, and benefits from day one; RN licensure and BLS are required, with ADN as minimum education and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 1+ acute care clinical experience preferred; 1+ home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans to ensure effective treatment.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly.
• Conducts holistic, individualized assessments of each patient considering age, physiological, and psychological status.
• Administers medications and solutions as required.
• Documents all phases of patient status during care.
• Participates in the transfer of patient information to ensure continued quality care.
• Leads and mentors staff to ensure optimal performance and competency in care delivery.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships within the practice and other departments.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

Up to a $10,000 Sign on Bonus Available

Schedule: Full-Time/Day
Shift: Day Shift Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm with e/o weekend or call rotation.
Location: Forest park Maywood Berwyn North Riverside Forest View Westchester Area with travel to LaGrange Hospital for meetings/Orientation etc.

Mileage reimbursement provided: $0.76 per mile

Flexible scheduling with Full Time, Part Time and PRN available
