Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking full-time Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Vermont home health visit teams. You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team delivering skilled nursing and rehabilitative care so clients may remain at home. Immediate needs exist in Windsor, Orange and Windham Counties.

We offer a full-time bonus opportunity up to $10,000 and a weekly pay schedule. Base pay depends on qualifications and is negotiable.

Qualifications

• Current Vermont RN license in good standing
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with transcript or diploma
• At least 1 year of hands-on medical experience with adult/geriatric populations in acute care, emergency department, home health, hospice, ICU, med surg, sub-acute care, or rehab within the past 2 years

Responsibilities

• Use head-to-toe assessment skills and identify subtle changes in patient condition
• Apply knowledge of acute and post-acute care (CHF, COPD, wound care, IV therapy, post-surgical care)
• Triage and manage urgent clinical situations independently in the home setting
• Perform medication reconciliation, patient teaching, and safety monitoring
• Conduct comprehensive wound assessment, care, and documentation

• Use strong head-to-toe assessment skills with the ability to identify subtle changes in patient condition

Qualifications for a Registered BAYADA Nurse:

• A current nursing license in good standing in the state of Vermont
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• At least one year of current or recent hands-on medical experience within the past two years with the adult/geriatric population in acute care, emergency department, home health, hospice, ICU, med surg, sub-acute care or rehab units (medical or skilled nursing settings).
