Role Overview: The RN ICU Nights provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a specialized ICU setting, collaborating with medical teams to deliver individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities: Performs procedures, monitors patient status, documents care, educates patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and lifestyle changes. Manages evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance care quality and clinical outcomes. Acts as a patient advocate and models organizational values, ensuring a holistic, compassionate approach to recovery and self-management.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires RN licensure, with certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support within specified timeframes. Education includes a Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing. Strong communication skills for translating complex medical info and teaching patients effectively.
