Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit. You will coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching to support recovery after hospitalization. The role requires an active RN license in the state or a compact license, current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days.

ACLS must be AHA approved. Inpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where the hospital resides (or compact licensure).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise nursing care for patients admitted to the unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
