Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Under the Nurse Manager, you will apply evidence-based practices and the nursing process to plan and deliver care that meets physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.

The role requires CT RN licensure, ASN education, and BLS certs, with BSN preferred and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut RN license is required.
• ASN degree is required; BSN must be obtained within 6 years of starting in the RN role.
• BSN is preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required before date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care using evidence-based practices and the nursing process.
• Develop and execute individualized care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Summary

Our Nurses work in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams, focused on a patient centered care model in a richly diverse work space. Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff. The registered nurse who through knowledge and ability uses the nursing process to develop a plan of care which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• ASN Required (Must obtain a BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role)
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
