Job summary

Novant Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a registered nurse for a fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit. You will manage a diverse patient population, administer medications including IV therapies, and support post-operative recovery and ongoing medical management.

Collaborating with physicians and therapy services, you will monitor patients closely and educate families to ensure safe discharge planning. RN licensure in the state is required, with one year of experience preferred.

Nurses on this unit care for patients with diagnoses including (but not limited to) post-surgical recovery, infections, GI conditions, respiratory issues, renal concerns, and general medical needs. What We're Looking For

• Education:
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
