Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to protect, promote and restore health by practicing at the highest level of licensure; you will collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate care across sites.

The role requires IL RN license with BLS; BSN is preferred. Prior healthcare experience is valued, with EMR and basic Microsoft Office proficiency. Must be able to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• IL RN license in current state and BLS for Health Care Providers required.
• BSN degree preferred for advanced practice and scope.
• Experience in a healthcare environment and EMR proficiency encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care at the highest licensure level, promoting health and wellness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care across sites.
• Mentor team members and support care coordination across the continuum.

Pay range for this position is $31.67 - $47.47/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

OSF will invest in you Day 1! Registered Nurses with 5+ years of direct experience will receive a bonus of 24 hours of Vacation/Holiday Time Off frontloaded on the first day. This is in addition to our generous Time Off plans!

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse protects, promotes and restores health and wellness, by practicing at the highest level of licensure; collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum; assesses and supports physical symptoms; provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families; mentors assigned team members; promotes best practices; maintains professional disposition at all times.

• Licenses/Certifications: IL RN license in current state. American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN
• Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
• Other requirements/information: Ability to regularly and timely travel between various sites
