Up to $48 an hour based on experience
PLUS 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and Weekend shift differentials

Summary of Position:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN is responsible for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the care plan. The RN ensures standards of care are met, manages the environment for resident/patient safety, and supervises nursing assistants and helpers. Adheres to North Shore’s policies and procedures, follows the State Nurse Practice Act, and complies with JCAHO standards where applicable.

Requirements of the Position:
  • Licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
  • Ability to calculate drug dosages
  • Meet all health requirements imposed by law
  • Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn company applications
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Post-acute care experience preferred
