Summary of Position:

Under supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN is responsible for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Responsibilities include assessment, implementing, and evaluating the care plan, ensuring standards of care, maintaining safety, supervising nursing assistants, and following policies and procedures in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and JCAHO standards.

Requirements:

• Licensed in Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet all health requirements by law
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, and staff
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Basic computer skills and aptitude for learning company applications
• Experience in a fast-paced environment; post-acute care experience preferred
