Job summary

Horizons Care Center in Eckert, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site role. This position emphasizes compassionate patient care and leadership in the nursing unit within a VOANS community.

Pay ranges from $39 to $46.50 per hour, with a schedule of Thursday, Friday? No, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 6am-6pm. VOANS offers a supportive environment, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct nursing care in the assigned unit.
• Plan and direct shift routines and supervise staff.
• Charting, documentation and assessment functions.
• Serve on committees to enhance interdisciplinary processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $39 - $46.50 per hour based on experience.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Current licensure in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

The Registered Nurse is to utilize the nursing process in planning and providing direct care to residents as assigned. The nurse will plan, direct and carry out shift routines in assigned nursing unit and observe, direct and evaluate the activities of personnel as the person “in charge” according to the Nurse Practice Act. Will assume “Building Charge” responsibilities as directed by the DON or Designee.

• Provides leadership and direction in the assigned unit.
• Resident Care Functions.
• Charting, Documentation and Assessment Functions.
  
• Serve on, participate in and attend various committees and meetings of the facility to enhance interdisciplinary process.
• Other duties as assigned.
