Horizons Care Center in Delta County, Colorado, seeks a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care-focused team on a 3-day, 6am–6pm schedule. You will apply the nursing process to plan direct resident care and maintain high standards of charting and assessment.

This role offers leadership opportunities, building charge responsibilities, and involvement in facility committees. We provide comprehensive benefits and a welcoming campus as part of Volunteers of America National Services'

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

$39 - $46.50 per hour based on experience. 60;

Schedule:

3 days per week (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) 6am-6pm

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Current licensure in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

The Registered Nurse is to utilize the nursing process in planning and providing direct care to residents as assigned. The nurse will plan, direct and carry out shift routines in assigned nursing unit and observe, direct and evaluate the activities of personnel as the person “in charge” according to the Nurse Practice Act. Will assume “Building Charge” responsibilities as directed by the DON or Designee. Provides leadership and direction in the assigned unit. Resident Care Functions. Charting, Documentation and Assessment Functions.

Serve on, participate in and attend various committees and meetings of the facility to enhance interdisciplinary process. Other duties as assigned.
