PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fargo is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient care team. You will deliver direct patient care, coordinate discharge planning, and educate patients and families to support post-hospital recovery.

The ideal applicant holds an active RN license in North Dakota, has current BLS and ACLS, and is prepared for ACLS within 90 days. ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Dakota or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days.
• Inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise nursing care for inpatients.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospital care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and, if assigned, Charge Nurse duties (ACLS required).

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post‑hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
