Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking an RN to provide and supervise care on the nursing unit. You will plan discharge, teach patients and families, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth transitions post-hospitalization.

The role requires an active RN license in the state (or compact licensure), current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days (ACLS for Charge Nurses). Inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred. Growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice (or compact licensure).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS required for Charge Nurses.
• Current ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on the unit.
• Plan and coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning and access community resources.
• May serve as Charge Nurse (ACLS required).

Hourly Rate Range - $42-$58

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training:

Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience:

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
