Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking an Registered Nurse to provide, direct, and supervise care for patients in the Long-Term Acute Care unit in Denver, CO. The RN will utilize the nursing process and coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.

Responsibilities include patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and accessing community resources. ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses, with BLS also required; 1 year of inpatient med-surgical

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Hourly Rate Range- $42-$58

Earn up to an additional $7/hr with shift differentials!

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training:
