Job summary

Houston Medical Center – AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for day shifts. The RN will deliver direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting, communicating changes in patient condition with physicians and healthcare teams, and responding promptly to treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
• ICU/critical care experience is a plus.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in long-term acute care setting.
• Communicate with physicians, charge nurses, and coworkers about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties across departments with supervision as needed.
