Job summary
Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare in Flowood, MS is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Day Shift (7A–7P). This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, full benefits, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. New graduates are welcome to apply and overtime opportunities may exist.
You will provide hands-on patient care in your unit, participate in teaching, discharge planning, and care planning for the patient population served, while upholding high nursing standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree with 1–3 years of experience in mental health or related field.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on delivery of patient care in the assigned unit.
- Provide, direct, and guide patient teaching, discharge planning, and care planning for the patient population served.
- Uphold high standards of professional nursing and support hospital goals and quality initiatives.

Responsible for the hands-on delivery of patient care in the assigned unit. Provides, directs, and guides patient teaching, discharge planning, and care planning for specific patient population served. Ensures that high standards of professional nursing are maintained. Further contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts, and Quality Management efforts.
