Job Overview

As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, you will coordinate and perform direct nursing care, collaborate with physicians, and serve as a resource and leader within the team. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality patient care and satisfaction, adhering to hospital policies, and supporting the hospital's mission and vision.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assess, design, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Provide complex nursing skills and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Monitor the quality of care and patient satisfaction.
• Engage in professional development.
• Ensure efficient daily operations of the Patient Care Center.
• Support hospital standards and policies, including compliance and safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN or ADN).
• Current RN license in Illinois or valid temporary permit.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least five years of acute care or related nursing experience.
