The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Helena, MT to recruit a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift across multiple specialty units. This role focuses on adaptable, high-quality care in a dynamic hospital environment.

You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and support several departments including Behavioral Health, ICU, and Women’s & Children’s Services.

Qualifications

• Active Montana RN license
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• Minimum of two years of acute care RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
• Med/Surg and/or Geriatric Nursing certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Float Pool Night Shift
• Collaborate with Unit Director, Manager, Charge Nurse, physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document accurately
• Support multiple specialty areas including Behavioral Health, Clinical Decision Unit, ICU and Women’s & Children’s Services
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and environments

Schedule: Float Pool | Night Shift | 0.9 FTE or 0.75FTE

What You’ll Do

As a Float Pool RN on the Night Shift team, you’ll provideexceptional care while supporting various departments throughout the hospital.Your responsibilities will be to :

• Apply the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient and family-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
  
• Collect, verify, and organizepatient health information to support clinical decision-making andeffective treatment
  
• Deliver direct patient care whilecollaborating with the Unit Director, Manager, Charge Nurse, physicians,and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes
  
• Perform comprehensive patientassessments and maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance withhospital policies and regulatory standards
  
• Maintain competency and flexibilityto support multiple specialty areas, including
  
• Behavioral Health
  
• Clinical Decision Unit
  
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)as the second RN &
  
• Women's & Children's Services(Couplet Care and Pediatric Psych)
  
• Adapt quickly to changing patientneeds and clinical environments
  

What We’re Looking For

Education, Experience and Certifications

• Active Montana Registered Nurse(RN) license
  
• Graduate of an accredited nursingprogram
  
• Minimum of two years of acute careRN experience required
