Job summary

Tanner-Health-1 is seeking a Float Pool RN to perform nursing duties across units, as needed, with potential to serve as charge or staff nurse. The role includes supervision of other nursing staff and directing patient care with independence in most situations.

Candidate should have two years of related RN experience, a strong ability to adapt to changing environments, and be capable of coordinating nursing care using the nursing process. BLS within 30 days of hire is required.

4 Years RN related experience, preferred.

The Float Pool RN performs nursing duties in accordance with hospital policy procedure, may function as a charge nurse or staff nurse, and supervises other nursing personnel who are responsible for patient care. Capable of making independent decisions in the majority of situations and is therefore able to direct patient care that is provided by others. Serves as a resource to other employees. Is responsible and accountable for prescribing and coordinating all nursing care provided on the unit utilizing the nursing process.

Licenses & Certifications

• *Georgia Registered Nurse License and Alabama Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License
• *Healthcare Provider (CPR)
