Job summary

Montrose Memorial Hospital in Montrose, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate the plan of care, provide direct age-appropriate nursing interventions, and educate patients. You will supervise CNAs, LPNs, and ward secretaries under the nurse manager or house supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a Colorado RN license (or compact), and education from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's, Associate, or Diploma).

Qualifications

• New graduates may be considered.
• Current Colorado or compact state RN license or ability to become licensed.
• Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's, Associate, or Diploma in Nursing.
• BLS required upon hire. ACLS and PALS within 9 months. ENPC and TNCC highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the plan of care and provide direct age-appropriate nursing interventions and patient education.
• Directs the team of CNA's, LPN's and Ward Secretaries under the supervision of the nurse manager or house supervisor.
• Collaborates with ancillary and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
