Job summary

Montrose Regional Health in Montrose, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to coordinate the plan of care, deliver age-appropriate nursing interventions, and educate patients while collaborating with ancillary, nursing and other team members. The RN will direct a team of CNAs, LPNs and Ward Secretaries, and work under the nurse manager or house supervisor to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• New graduates may be considered.
• Current Colorado or compact state RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's, Associate, or Diploma in Nursing.
• BLS required upon hire. ACLS and PALS within 9 months. ENPC and TNCC highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the plan of care and delivers age-appropriate nursing interventions.
• Education of patients and families in cooperation with the care team.
• Directs the team of CNAs, LPNs and Ward Secretaries under supervision.
