Wellstar in Augusta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide focused nursing care to a defined patient population using the nursing process to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires 2+ years of RN experience, current BLS, and GA RN license; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required for select units and must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited/approved school of nursing and 2+ years of RN experience in a related area.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current Registered Nurse License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license.

Responsabilidades

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional registered nurse responsible for the nursing care of a defined patient population. Care is provided through the nursing process and in a manner that is cost effective while maintaining quality of care and optimal patient outcomes. The RN performs assessments, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions and evaluates the effectiveness of care. The RN participates in unit based and organizational quality improvement initiatives, meets continuing education requirements, participates in student/new employee orientations/teaching activities, upholds Patient Care Services philosophy and objectives, demonstrates professional growth and development through involvement in professional organizations, reviews professional literature and participates in continuing education programs.

• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP (only in select units/departments) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current Registered Nurse License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license.

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's of Nursing.
• National specialty certification applicable to area of practice.

Scheduling Requirements

• Every other weekend and two minor and one major holiday.
