Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care to a defined patient population. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using the nursing process to achieve optimal outcomes.
The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current Georgia RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP within 6 months of hire. Prior RN experience in floor or critical care is preferred.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional registered nurse responsible for the nursing care of a defined patient population. Care is provided through the use of the nursing process and in a manner that is cost effective while maintaining quality of care and optimal patient outcomes. The RN performs assessments, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions and evaluates the effectiveness of care. The RN participates in unit based and organizational quality improvement initiatives, meets continuing education requirements, participates in student/new employee orientations/teaching activities, upholds Patient Care Services philosophy and objectives, demonstrates professional growth and development through involvement in professional organizations, reviews professional literature and participates in continuing education programs.
