Job summary

Wellstar Health System in the United States is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing services as part of the patient care team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while supporting a compassionate environment and professional standards.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current BLS, and an active RN license (Georgia or multi-state). ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required in select units, with at least one year of related experience.

Registered Nurses provide quality nursing services by working with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients care and by providing a positive, supportive environment. The Registered Nurse is the front-line representative of the patient care team often serving as the intermediary between the patient and family, and the provider(s) and other care team members. This role is expected to: participate in performance improvement initiatives; maintain professional competence; develop others; uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards; and support Shared Governance through service on councils or sponsored activities.

Position Requirements: Graduate from an accredited/approved school of nursing. Current American Heart Association, Basic Life. 1 year experience in related area. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). ACLS, PALS, or NRP (only in select units/departments). Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license.
