Centerpoint - Winchester is seeking a Float Pool RN to join our team for night shifts (7p-7a) with rotating weekends. This role supports multiple hospital areas, providing essential nursing care while adapting to unit needs.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree in Nursing, required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
• Current KY RN license
• 2 years of critical care experience
• Certifications: BCLS; ACLS & PALS per unit specific requirements

• Performs plan of care, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care tasks.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers and discharges.
• Advocates for patients' physical and emotional well-being.
• Provides direction, training, and mentoring to staff and participates in evaluations.
• Performs staff responsibilities to meet service levels.

Our Float RNs are adaptable professionals with diverse expertise. They float to almost all areas of the hospital and must be able to adjust to what's needed quickly.

How You'll Contribute

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Associates Degree in Nursing, required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
• Current RN to practice in the state of KY
• 2 years of critical care experience
• Certifications: BCLS; ACLS & PALS per unit specific requirements
