Job summary

Tower Health is seeking an on-site Registered Nurse to float across Med/Surg units, evaluating patients, planning and documenting care, and delivering high-quality nursing services at Reading Hospital.

Required qualifications include a BSN (or RN to BSN/MSN option with recent credits), Facilitator/Preceptor training, and an active PA RN license. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or certification in a specialty by a recognized accrediting agency or enrolled in RN to BSN/RN to MSN with minimum 6 credits completed in the last 12 months.
  • Must be Facilitator and Preceptor trained.
  • PA Registered Nurse License required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
  • Delivers excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation for a diverse patient population with complex concerns.
  • Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the RN scope of practice.

Job Summary

*This position will float to various Med/Surg units.

The Registered Nurse:

  • Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
  • Delivers excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns.
  • Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
  • Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR - Certification in specialty by recognized accrediting agency OR enrolled in RN to BSN or RN to MSN program with minimum 6 credits completed within previous 12 months

Experience

  • Must be Facilitator and Preceptor trained.
