Job summary

Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT is seeking a Graduate RN to join our Resource Center team on the night shift (7:00pm–7:30am), including every other weekend and holiday. This role offers the chance to care for diverse patient populations across a renowned health system.

The ideal candidate will hold an unrestricted CT RN license, BLS, ACLS for the Critical Care track, and one year of acute RN experience, with a commitment to teamwork and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• One year recent acute RN experience.
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track.
• Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care in Backus Hospital Resource Center.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain patient safety.

Resource Center RNs are specially trained to care for all patient populations and serve as the Float Pool for Backus Hospital.
