Job summary

Backus Hospital in Connecticut is seeking Resource Center RNs to join the Float Pool and provide compassionate care on the 7pm–7:30am shift, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend. The role supports a busy hospital with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care across departments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• One year recent acute RN experience.
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track.
• Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications.

Resource Center RNs are specially trained to care for all patient populations and serve as the Float Pool for Backus Hospital. This dynamic team consists of highly skilled nursing professionals who showcase strong collaboration, flexibility, and communication skills to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients and their families.
