Job summary

Backus Hospital in Connecticut seeks Resource Center Registered Nurses to join its Float Pool. You will care for diverse patient populations and collaborate with a skilled team.

Candidates must be a graduate of a school of nursing, have one year acute RN experience, hold an unrestricted CT RN license, and maintain BLS; ACLS preferred for the Critical Care track.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• One year recent acute RN experience.
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track.

Responsibilities

• Resource Center RNs are specially trained to care for all patient populations and serve as the Float Pool for Backus Hospital.
• Work with a collaborative team to deliver high quality patient care and support families.
• Demonstrate flexibility and strong communication skills in a dynamic hospital setting.
