Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Float Pool in Maryland. This PRN role supports multiple units, including Medical, Surgical, Intermediate Care and Emergency Services, across varying patient needs.

You will assess evolving conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with the nursing team to deliver high-quality care within your competency. PRN shifts from 7:00am–7:00pm offer flexibility and diverse experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in MD or Compact state required with BLS.
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Flexibility to float across multiple units (Medical, Surgical, IC, ED).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care across a spectrum of needs.
• Assess patient conditions and develop care plans.
• Coordinate with nursing team to implement interventions.

Available Positions: PRN 7:00am-7:00pm

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of

USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
