Job summary

Lovelace Health System is seeking a night shift, full-time Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical Float Pool in Albuquerque, NM. You will provide high-quality patient care across multiple units and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, implementing care plans, and supporting staff as assigned by the RN in charge. A valid NM nursing license and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS may be needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required by the department.

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 2 years of experience in a specialty.
• 2 years of general nursing experience.
