Requirements include an Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing, NM nursing license (or compact) within 90 days, and BLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred. This is a hospital-based position emphasizing patient flow and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS, PALS.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients per nursing standards across diagnoses.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care, potentially during crises.
• Serves as team leader during patient crisis situations.
• May function as staff RN in ICU, ED, or other designated areas during high acuity.
• Supports admission and discharge processes for optimal patient flow.

Responsibilities

• A ccording to nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients with a variety of diagnoses.
• Has responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patients that could potentially result in a patient crisis situation .
• S ein as team leader during patient crisis situations.
• During high acuity or crisis situations, may function as a staff RN in the ICU, ED or designated areas of need.
• Assist with the admission and discharge processes and paperwork for optimal patient flow.
