Job summary

Vivie seeks an RN Float to deliver skilled nursing care directly in patients' homes. You will float across Home Health & Hospice service areas, ensuring seamless support and high-quality clinical services wherever you are needed.

As the role involves travel, you will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., earning $40.00–$49.00 per hour (non-exempt) based on experience. Benefits include retirement matching, PTO, holidays, health coverage, and more.

Qualifications

• Current MN RN license required.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to travel between Home Health locations.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with EMR systems.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing interventions, rehabilitation support, and education in clients' homes.
• Monitor and communicate changes in client condition to the care team.
• Complete supervisory visits with LPNs and HHAs per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Float across Vivie Home Health & Hospice locations as needed.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.

Schedule: Full- Time | 80 hours/pay period | Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pay Range: $40.00 - $49.00 / hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As an RN Float, you'll deliver skilled, compassionate care where it matters most - directly in the homes of those we serve. You'll float across our Home Health & Hospice service areas, stepping in to ensure seamless support, expert clinical service, and consistent care when and where it's needed. This flexible, high-impact role is essential to maintaining the quality and continuity of our care across the Vivie footprint.

As a RN Float, You Will

• Deliver Compassionate Clinical Care - Provide skilled nursing interventions, rehabilitation support, and education for clients and their caregivers in alignment with care plans and best practices.
• Support Care Coordination - Monitor and communicate changes in client condition to the interdisciplinary team and physicians. Assist in planning, adjusting, and evaluating care strategies to meet individualized goals.
• Ensure Accurate Documentation - Maintain comprehensive clinical records in the EMR. Complete and document supervisory visits with LPNs and HHAs per regulatory guidelines.
• Adapt Across Regions - Float to Home Health & Hospice locations as needed, providing seamless coverage and exceptional care wherever you're needed most.
• Collaborate Across Teams - Serve as a vital part of our interdisciplinary care team. Build trust and support with families, caregivers, and Vivie colleagues to deliver the highest standard of home health services.

This Job Also Requires

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
• Current driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle.
• CPR certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Ability to travel between Home Health locations as needed.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with technology and EMR systems
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with clients, families, and team members.
