Job summary

Vivie is hiring a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota for part-time evening to morning shifts. The role requires travel to client homes within designated regions and supervision of LPNs/HHA visits. The schedule includes Friday 4:30 p.m.

to Monday 8:00 a.m. every other weekend, with guaranteed pay for 16 hours per period. You will provide preventive and rehabilitative care, document services, and coordinate with physicians and families to ensure safe, high-quality home health support.

Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license in Minnesota.
• CPR certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured personal vehicle.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently to communicate with clients, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Document all services accurately using Vivie’s EMR system and understand payer sources.
• Organize and direct skilled nursing services following nursing standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients, families, doctors, and the care team.
• Participate in team meetings and assist in other areas to meet client needs.

Job description

Schedule: Part Time - 16 hours/pay period (guaranteed pay for 16 hours/pay period) - Friday 4:30 p.m. to Monday 8:00 a.m. (Every other weekend)

Pay Range: $40.00-$49.00 / hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

What you'll do as a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN):

• Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures to ensure client safety and well-being. Monitor and report changes in client conditions, including reactions to treatments or medication, to the physician. Educate, supervise, and counsel clients and caregivers on care needs and support them in managing health challenges at home.
• Document all services accurately and promptly using Vivie's EMR system. Demonstrate an understanding of all payer sources and authorization requirements. Complete and document supervisory visits with LPNs and HHAs in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Organize, develop, and direct skilled nursing services following nursing standards, state and federal regulations, and Vivie's policies. Maintain the highest degree of quality care, customer service, and fiscal responsibility within the Home Health division.
• Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients, families, physicians, referral sources, and the interdisciplinary team. Utilize exceptional verbal and written communication skills to ensure cohesive and effective care delivery.
• Participation in team meetings, special projects, or assisting in other areas of the organization to ensure client needs are met efficiently. The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and are not necessarily all inclusive.

This Job Also Requires

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
• CPR required within 6 months of hire.

• Physical capability to perform job duties, including driving to client locations and providing hands-on care.
